If you try to upgrade Payback while you still have it running, an error message 'An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file' will appear. This is because Windows is unable to overwrite a file that's in use.

Solution
Make sure that you have exited Payback before running any updates. If you are running a networked version, make sure that all the users have exited Payback.
