ROS supply a file which contains your employees information including tax credits and cut-off point. This is called a P2C file and can be downloaded from ROS as a .TFA format file.

To import the information into Payback do the following;

1) Go into the Utility / Import Tax screen

2) Click 'Load File' and select the ROS tfa file you downloaded from ROS

3) The top grid shows you the contents of the file. Check this carefully, it shows you which employees it found a match for in Payback and will be updated, and also if any new employees will be created in Payback. The bottom grid shows you which existing employees in Payback have been matched or not matched (only matched ones will be updated)

4) Once you're happy with the details, then click the 'Import' button. This will import/update your employees. It will display the results of the import on the next screen.

Employees are matched on their PRSI code. It is also important that you've entered the correct employer number into Payback (in the Company screen) as this is used to match the TFA file.
