If you have Payback running on more than one machine, on a network, here are the upgrade instructions;

1) Backup your data before proceeding! Admin / Backup / Backup - Save the file somewhere you'll remember, like your Documents folder
2) Exit Payback (also ensure there are no other PCs on the network running Payback)
3) Download the setup.exe file from http://www.payback.ie/download.shtml
4) Run the setup.exe file, installing Payback as normal
5) If you attempt to startup Payback now, you should get an error message about 'Database not found' - This is fine, just click the 'Exit' button
6) Go into 'My Computer' and navigate to the 'C:\Program Files\Payback' folder
7) Right-click the following file and click 'copy': Paydata8_02.log
8) Go to the network drive where you have the Payback data (e.g. This might be drive H: for example, it will be the folder that contains a file called 'Paydata7_02.log')
9) Copy the Paydata8_02.log file into this location. You should now see 'Paydata8_02.log' in your network folder
10) Start-up Payback
11) You should get a prompt saying 'Upgrade Successful'. Click OK.
12) Check the version number at the top of the screen says 'Payback Version 8.02'
13) Check all your data is present and up-to-date
14) On all the other PCs on your network using Payback, just run the setup.exe file (There's no need to copy the data file across, just run setup.exe)
