Payback counts the weeks according to Revenue tax weeks - starting on 1 January. However, if your employees are paid on a certain day (eg. Friday) and they are also fortnightly or four weekly paid, then some years the first week may appear to be skipped. This is happening because of a quirk of the calendar and that 7 does not divide into 365. Solution Go to the company screen and select the 'Pay Details' tab. Under the 'Fortnightly' section (or four-weekly, if the problem is four-weekly): If 'First' is selected for Payment week, then select 'Second' instead. If 'Second' is selected for Payment week, then select 'First' (In other words, change the payment week) Then click 'Update Company' at the top of the screen. |
